Japanese Manga (Malay Version)

I have some comics bought for the past few months. I have done reading them all, and it's a waste of keeping them. Most of it are japanese manga translated to Malay by Gempak Starz. So, to all especially Malaysians, if you're interesting in getting them slightly at a lower price, do leave a comment or in chat box.

Hair Tips

Oily Hair
Avoid daily washing. The glands become overstimulated, thus secreting more oil onto the hair. The roots are oily and the ends become dry. Hair must be washed without rubbing the scalp too much and only apply conditioner to the mid and ends rather than at the roots. Oily and fatty foods can contribute to greasy skin and scalp. Watch your diet!

Dry Hair
Dry and brittle hair needs to be nourished from within by using moisturising shampoo which will cleanse without excessive rubbing, which will damage the hair even worst and follow with a hot oil conditioner.

Split Ends
Blow drying can damage the hair. If damage has been done, serum is applied to split ends will help cover them and help to protect the hair when applying direct heat. To get rid of split ends, the best solution is to cut it.

* These are the basic tips on hair. Got it from webs, I thought it might be useful since most people, especially girls are particular about their hairs and some had hair problems. :D

Anime : Nana

One wintry evening, Komatsu Nana happens to sit next to Osaki Nana on a train to Tokyo. Komatsu Nana goes to seek out her boyfriend and a new life in the city, while Osaki Nana goes to pursue a career in music. They soon become friends after finding out they had the same names and through getting to know one another. Coincidentally, during their search for an apartment, they meet again and begin to live together. Komatsu Nana begins her new life in Tokyo with assistance from her boyfriend, Shoji, and her friends Junko and Kyosuke. Osaki Nana aims for a stage debut as the vocalist of a punk rock group, BLAST (Black Stone), while developing a crush on Ren, a guitarist of a popular band group, Trapnest. Both girls are polar opposites of each other; while Komatsu Nana has a gentle, innocent nature, Osaki Nana keeps a calm, cool attitude. The story of NANA chronicles their trials and triumphs in their developing friendship.

* It is one of the best anime series, from my point of view. The 1st season for this anime just ended and I'm eagerly waiting for the next season. I think Ai Yazawa's works are great! Other than Nana, I also think that Paradise Kiss is a nice one. There's Nana in anime, manga and live action as well, but I prefer anime :D and if you do want to know the rest of the story, read the manga!

How to play MKV files?

Step One :
You need the proper codec to play any kind of video files.
Download from here :

Step Two :
Click on "Windows Vista/XP/2K" under the word DOWNLOAD.

Step Three :
Click save and it will start downloading.

Step Four :
After the file is downloaded completely, click on the .exe file and follow the installation steps.

Step Five :
When finished installing, right click on the .mkv file you would like to play and it will start playing. If it doesnt, click "Open With" and choose "Zoom Player".

I played a .mkv file and error appeared. I went searching on the net and found this. It helped me, hope it does for you too. :D

Anime : School Days

( Romance, School Life ) - 12 episodes

Makoto Ito rides the train to and from school every day. However, at the beginning of his second term, he falls in love with a beautiful girl that also rides the same train, Kotonoha Katsura. Although they attend the same school, they are not in the same class. In an attempt to catch her eye, Makoto enlists the aid of a close female friend of his, Sekai Saionji. She helps him, despite the fact that she is in love with him. Thus the three are bound in a love triangle of life changing proportions.

*NOT RECOMMENDED. It's a teenage romance whereby this guy, named Makoto coupled with Katsura with the help of Sekai. Then his feelings for Katsura fades and ended up on bed with Sekai. Later it just starts to be about him sleeping with other girls and Katsura had some mental illness. Ending of the story was a disaster (kill). The beginning of the anime was quite interesting, a normal school life anime but then, it was a let down.

Yummy Pancakes!

If you're planning to make some or learn cooking these holidays (Hari Raya), here's the recipe :

Ingredients :

• 2 cups of flour (sifted)
• 2 1/2 ts. of baking powder
• 2 tbs. of sugar
• 1/2 ts. of salt
• 1 egg (beaten)
• 1 1/2 cups of milk
• 2 ts. melted butter
• vanila extract

Method :

1. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine egg and milk and add to flour mixture
2. Stir the mixture until smooth and blend in melted butter.
3. Preheat non-stick frying pan. Use about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
4. Pour the batter and allow batter to naturally flow out into a circular shape. Cook until brown on one side and turn over using a spatula to brown the other side.
5. Serve plain or with jam (blueberry, peanut butter, syrup)

* If you want to add in stuffs such as fruits, nuts or other flavourings, add in after the mixture is blended properly. Stir them gently.
